Before you start....guys let me tell you. This is going to be kind of monotonous post.
Morning of Tuesday, 19th Feb brought with it showers and chilling cold to accompany with.
That was my joining day!
When I kept foot in Google campus, I felt like I was returning from an extended leave.
I ran throught the de-ja-vu joining formalities.
Then met my company's acocunt manager. He offered a friendly welcome. We talked for a while. He is unchanged. Same friendly smile, thousand calculations running in brain, witty remarks and light but noticeable bums.
Sandeep took me to meet the team. Almost everything was same.
Got a nice welcome from team.
Got an idea about the work I need to do by the time Surya comes back from India.
An obviuos question. What after 1 month? Well as I said, life synonyms to uncertainity.
So don't know what He has in store for me!
What I have in mind then?
I am concentrating on staying here for 366 days, and enjoying every day of it.
How? Donno! :)
My recent experience says: What you decide doesn't happen, and what happens is unexpected.
Remedy: Ajit, don't decide anything :)
It's quite late now. Cold floor and cozy comforter are waiting for me.

Get Set Go! Second Trip To USA
Feb15, 2008
Unpredictable, thy name is LIFE!
Never in my dream, I would have thought that on 15th Feb 2008 I will board a flight to San Francisco.
Booking (of tickets and time), Packing (of clothes and thoughts) and Organizing (of documents and mind); all was done.
Being the second time, I didn't give chance to 'proactive' support unit of my company to mess with my tickets or journey. Still they snatched a chance, and the so called 'booked hotel' was never booked!
Anyways, being an 'experienced' guy, both with company working and in Mountain View, I pretty well managed to stay in the same hotel.
Coming back to 15Feb - All was set. I and Ketur started off with a hurry to find an auto. (Don't forget....Mr. Luck broke the cab which I had called to pick me to Airport!).
Me, Mom,Dad and Sis reached Airport followed by Ketur and Unmesh.
Then followed the 'Bye-Bye' ceremony. Hearts filled, emotions blocked (For me 'bye-bye' ceremony resembles stomach of a politician...always filled with something!)
I started off...to a journey...hoping Mr Luck to accompany me.
Family - omnipresent manifestation of Him and Friends - empathetic co-walkers, were waiting to see the last glimpse of mine. Preserving the faces standing across the barricades, so near yet so far. Hailing the smell of mother, the land; and with blessings of universal mother, I entered the Airport.
Immigration Officer pleasantly accepted that one of his brother is going to distant land. Job gets to you so much! Face of a man can be more emotionless than an uncut ivory stone! :)
I have a strong opinion. 'Government Official' word should be used for 'Missing/Absent, Lazy, Sloppy, Distant, Phoenix (an imaginary creature)' words in Oxford,Cambridge and Webster Dictionaries......!!
I came to this opinion when I waited for customs officer at Hyderabad Airport from 8:30 pm to 10:10 pm. Other substitutes came to my mind after interacting with him.
Then all was mechanical. Journey from Hyderabad to Singapore. Changi Airport made me feel again that Man can produce miracles from Steel-Concrete-Wood and other stuff. Awesome Airport! Then boarded the second flight and got down at Seoul. Had free dinner coupon there, becausecoz flight was 3 hours late. (Thank God, our railway minister didn't see this. Otherwise he would have asked 40rupees from every passenger if the train turns late :))
Landed SFO, got cab and came to a non-booked hotel and stayed there for a night.
16th morning I shifted to an Apartment.
What spoke the Gut after landing? Nothing. I was sursrpised to see myself so emotionless.
Slowly I don't know how, a feeling of happiness started to fill me. Then met Surya. Had a nice dinner.
Next afternoon Sandeep came. What a good time we had! Guess what, we saw Jodhaa-Akbar that evening in theatre! Cool, "Salaam US, I am back"!!
